The IAA Department of Awareness-Raising is committed to implementing a range of measures to promote autism awareness. campaigns during the World Autism Month, and other similar awareness-raising programs. Our goal is to increase public understanding of autism and promote a more inclusive society.

The Department of Awareness-Raising at the Iran Autism Association (IAA) is dedicated to expanding public knowledge about autism. The department recognizes that the majority of problems faced by people with autism and their families arise from a lack of public awareness about autism. To address this issue, the department aims to increase awareness at various levels, including:

  • People with autism 
  • Families with autistic children
  • Families with one- to three-year-old children and young couples
  • Society
  • Business owners
  • Governmental authorities

To accomplish these goals, the IAA Department of Awareness-Raising takes the following measures:

Activities in the virtual space and social media

Installing billboards 

Preparing informative brochures

Creating written content and publishing it in newspapers and magazines

Utilizing the help of celebrities and famous people in various fields to introduce autism

Holding awareness campaigns in World Autism Month and other similar awareness-raising programs
