It is crucial for us that parents know the signs and symptoms of autism, and if they see one or some of these symptoms in their child, start screening as soon as possible. We believe that 1 to 3 years old is the golden age that should not be missed.
The isolation of individuals and families with an autistic child is a critical issue. When society is unaware of the characteristics of autism, it cannot understand these individuals and families and sometimes makes inappropriate judgments. This issue has made these families and individuals increasingly isolated in society.
Many young people with autism have unique talents and skills. They are usually successful in jobs that require high concentration and can be present in the workplace if the right conditions are met. Our goal is that business owners become familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of these people and their talents and provide the appropriate circumstances for these people to take on job positions.
We know that meeting some of the demands of the autistic community requires serious governmental support. Our goal is to acquaint the authorities with autism, symptoms, behaviors, problems ahead, needs, and provide a suitable situation following up their demands by officials.
To achieve these goals, various measures have been considered. Cyberspace and social media, public billboards, preparing written content and publishing it in newspapers and magazines, brochures, using the capacity of celebrities and well-known people in various fields to Introducing autism, holding awareness campaigns in the “World Autism Awareness Month” and various other awareness programs are some of the steps we take in this regard.
