Iran Autism Association is a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2013 by professionals, experts, beneficiaries, autistic persons, and their families.
In these years, we have established 25 representative units in a different province of Iran.
The Board of directors in IAA is composed of five prominent and two alternate members elected from the Board of Trustees by the Ordinary General Assembly.
My colleagues and I at the “Iran Autism Association,” with a strong belief in the power of civic institutions addressing social needs and goals, strive to create the best opportunities for the Iran autism community. Raising awareness in society, empowerment, and advocacy are some parts of our strategy. We believe that with planning, collaboration, teamwork, and continuous activities, we can significantly help the autistic community.
Therefore, in the past seven years, intending to improve the situation, we have done our best to contribute to these people’s happiness and well-being. However, based on our experiences and considering our strengths and weaknesses, we seek to take more decisive steps in the days and years ahead. To this end and to develop our activities, we need the experiences and sincere help of other institutions active in this field.
